How it all started...
Our early beginnings at 408 E Mountain Street was the launching pad to what would become an active and life-changing group of believers in our community. God has done so much and continues too through the faithful obedience of many at Kernersville Wesleyan.
Expanding the vision...
At Kernersville Wesleyan, we hold tightly to the belief that God is calling all people to Himself, regardless of their past, background, beliefs or behavior, and He uses people of all walks of life to convey this reality. We are simply people who desire to be devoted to Jesus and His teaching which leads us to love and care for one another, and moves us to serve the world that is around us. This does not happen simply because we want it to happen. It happens when we align ourselves with the will, the way and the word of God so His Work can go forward!
Where we are headed...
Devotion is powerful! When an individual or a group of individuals become devoted to some thing, some one or some cause, that devotion begins to have power in their lives!
As a church our desire is to lead people to become more fully devoted followers of Jesus, nothing more, nothing less. We want to be devoted to Jesus because He was and is devoted to us. We want to be devoted to one another because in a world of division, unity has never been more powerful. We want to be devoted to the world that is around us because we find true significance in serving!
